Thank you to all the parents & carers who have attended Parent/Teacher meetings over the past few weeks.

It’s not too late to discuss your child’s progress at school. Please contact your child’s teacher to arrange a suitable time. Meetings can certainly rollover into Term 2.

Congratulations to Karjarry, Sam and David who represented the combined Eastern Suburbs/Sydney Coastal Rugby Leage Team at the Sydney East trials on Monday.

It was also great to see the level of participation in yesterday’s Cross Country Carnival. We wish our representative runners all the best at the Zone Carnival next term.

Please join us for the Easter Hat Parade tomorrow… it’s always a spectacle and always lots of fun!

School Holidays

School holidays are obviously a time to kick back a little and recharge.

Holiday reading can certainly complement all the amazing things we have planned and ensures our reading volume is maintained.

You might also want to visit https://www.esafety.gov.au/ for advice on apps, classification ratings, social media and online safety issues/parental controls. The advice is current and relevant to all of us.

P&C News

P&C is looking for volunteers to help run the democracy sausage sizzle for the federal election, Saturday 3 May. It’s a great way to get involved.

P&C also have some amazing things planned for Mother’s Day and would welcome donations for the Mother’s Day Stall early next term.

Maths Explorer Program

Our Stage 1 Maths Explorer (Olympiad) program has begun for the year. Students enthusiastically solved mathematical problems in teams by exploring different strategies.

A limited number of 2nd hand uniform items can also be obtained through the office. 
 
Uniform reminders: 

• Please clearly label all new (and old) items of uniform with your child’s name – especially school hats and school jumpers;
• Children should wear black shoes unless wearing their sport uniform;
• We have a ‘no hat, no play’ policy and require every child to wear a school hat when outside;
• Please remind your child about the importance of putting their clothing in their bag if they take it off; and
• If your child comes home with items of uniform that do not belong to them please return to school and inform the teacher so that the clothing can be handed back to the owner.
